Roe v. Wade (film)

  • Lua error: expandTemplate: template "y" does not exist.
  • Comment: I'm leaning oppose. The Daily Beast is not RS.– Lionel(talk) 03:14, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
  • You said it, not me! (kidding) Daily Beast has been described as "hyper-partisan" and comparable to Breitbart. Opinions at RSN are not positive. I think we can do better for the Main Page, don't you? – Lionel(talk) 04:21, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
  • I see. I shall amend those claims backed by Daily Beast immediately. However, I will leave the direct quotation from their website as it's a legit interview from one of the persons involved in the movie; the crew member was not interviewed by other websites. Tks, Slightlymad (talkcontribs) 04:33, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
  • I'd also like to follow up that I will not be removing the Daily Beast citations supporting the Cast section. I can't find any RS that has a reasonably complete report of the character roles the actors are going to play. Besides, MOS:FILM demands that this section be supported with citations. Tks, Slightlymad (talkcontribs) 04:56, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Alright Template:U, I have left the Daily Beast sources to support the Cast section but amended those sources backed by the website with another RS. Tks, Slightlymad (talkcontribs) 06:11, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Well, now we have a POV issue. The cast members resigned from the film because pro-abortion people harassed them and because the actors felt that they would face career discrimination from appearing in a pro-life film. According to your source, in general, problems with production, including shooting locations becoming unavailable, actually had to do with discrimination against pro-life people.Lionel(talk) 06:21, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Alveda King, MLK Jr.'s niece, had a similar hunch, apparently. I've expanded on this by quoting her directly from her Fox News interview. Let me know if that's fine. Tks, Slightlymad (talkcontribs) 07:57, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

Template:Od Symbol question.svg Since there is some disagreement about the hook fact, I'm returning this nomination to WP:DYKN until the issues are worked out. Yoninah (talk) 20:32, 18 August 2018 (UTC)

  • I unfortunately don't have time to continue this process, Template:U. If no one can take up the mantle here and closing is the only other option rn, so be it. Tks, Slightlymad (talkcontribs) 04:40, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Symbol delete vote.svg Noted. It appears that the nominator has stated that they will be unable to improve the article; as such, this is now marked for closure as withdrawn/unsuccessful. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 04:42, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
