Vjekoslav Luburić

  • ... that concentration camp commander Vjekoslav Luburić's wife divorced him after someone sent her an anonymous letter detailing his crimes? Jasenovcu. Izabela Sanitisteban nije mogla Luburiću oprostiti prešućenu prošlost: zatražila je i dobila razvod braka." ("The letter sent to Luburić's young wife stated that Luburić's hands were stained with so much blood that they could never be washed clean. The letter went on to list some of Luburić's crimes and the ways in which he killed children in ... Jasenovac. Isabela San Esteban could not forgive her husband for his past misdeeds and promptly divorced him.")

  • Template:Ping I think that this needs some indication of just where and/or when it was. How would you feel about: ALT1: ... that Croatian concentration camp commander Vjekoslav Luburić's wife divorced him after someone sent her an anonymous letter detailing his crimes? Or: ALT2: ... that Croatian concentration camp commander Vjekoslav Luburić's wife divorced him after she was sent an anonymous letter detailing his crimes?
  • Could you insert the appropriate in line citation immediately after "... the killing of children."
Hi, thanks for picking up the nom. I have added an inline citation. Alt 2 is better, imo. As for when/where, are you suggesting we should explicitly state 1957 and "in Spanish exile" (as per the source)? 23 editor (talk) 15:50, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
To my ear the reader needs a hint as to where and when he was a CC commander. I don't insist on this, but wanted to flag it up for your consideration. I add another alt below. Feel free to pick any one of them or to suggest another. Gog the Mild (talk) 16:16, 24 June 2018 (UTC)

ALT3: ... that concentration camp commander Vjekoslav Luburić's wife divorced him after she was sent an anonymous letter detailing his crimes?

How about this, Template:U?

Very good. Excellent article btw. Gog the Mild (talk) 17:18, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
Hi, Template:U. It would appear that the nominator of the DYK I reviewed hasn't completed their QPQ. Does that effect my nomination? 23 editor (talk) 16:08, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
Hi Template:U That's a good question, and it is very honest of you to raise it. I don't actually know, and so shall alert Template:U, who flagged up the issue with the article you had reviewed/are reviewing. To me you have carried out a review of an article in good faith, and are now following up on outstanding issues, and so I am inclined to call that sufficient QPQ. No doubt if Yoninah disagrees he will revert my tick and I in turn will have to strike this as QPQ Face-smile.svg. We shall see. Gog the Mild (talk) 16:22, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
