Template:Editnotice explanation
Revision as of 18:53, 26 April 2019 by imported>Danski454 (added page movers to list of users able to edit, changed "protection tab is irrelevant" to "protection tab is mostly irrelevant" (only admins can edit fully protected editnotices) and made edit request template reflect protection stauts)
| Warning! It seems this is the talk page of an editnotice with an invalid name. Template:Editnotice explanation can only be edited by administrators, template editors and page movers. All editnotices (except those in userspace) are protected via MediaWiki:Titleblacklist, so the "protection" status as set by the protection tab is mostly irrelevant. To request a change to the page, add {{edit template-protected}} to this page, followed by a description of your request. |
This is the {{editnotice explanation}} template.
It can be placed at the top of talk pages of editnotices.
This template takes two optional parameters, the first of which is the CSS class/id name of the editnotice, if one has been set (typically via the "id" and "class" parameters of {{fmbox}}).
- Example: {{Editnotice explanation}}
- Example: {{Editnotice explanation|idname}}
The second optional parameter, |2=fully protected, will remove template editors from this notice on talk pages of fully protected edit notices.
- Example: {{Editnotice explanation|idname|fully protected}}
