ATTENTION:
DYK images need to be edit-protected before they reach the main page. Images queued for DYK, whether at Commons or on English Wikipedia normally are cascade-protected. If, for some reason, it is not possible to rely on cascade protection for a particular image, upload the image locally (not at Commons) and protect it before moving it to the queue.When temporarily uploading a Commons image to Wikipedia, include the {{c-uploaded}} tag and all attribution/license information. Alternatively, a Commons administrator may protect the image there. |
