Musical Projects

Javier Arce is best known for being the lead singer from one of Costa Rica's leading indie bands, Cocofunka. He announced his brand new solo project on Noisey at the end of 2016, and debuted his trio-format live show in 2018 at iconic festivals in his hometown like Envision and Epicentro.

Arce’s new electronic project envelope the tropical sounds that surround him, melding them with modern atmospheric beats and piercing lyrics. With just 5 singles released and more than 1.5 million streams, he has produced and collaborated with a diverse range of artists like weird inside (USA), Fármacos (Chile), Lagartijeando (Arg), Soy Emilia (Col), Macha Kiddo (CR-Arg) and more.

His first EP is set to be released in 2019.
