This infobox can display up to 5 flags. It is not only for national flags.

Parameters

Only the Name and Image parameters are mandatory.

General

Name
Name of entity.
Article
Term to include before name of entity, e.g. the.
Image_size
Size of images to use in infobox; if not specified, default is 210x105px

Flag-specific

Each of these fields can be given a suffix from 2 to 5 in order to specify up to 5 variants (war flags, naval ensigns, alternative civil flags, etc.) of the national flag, in addition to the main (non-suffixed) version considered the national flag. For an example, see Flag of Morocco. All of the following parameters are optional with the exception of Image.

Image
Filename excluding Image: prefix.
Noborder
Leave this field blank to display image with border by default.
Nickname
Name of the flag.
Morenicks
More names of the flag, separated by commas.
Use
8-bit FIAV usage code, or text.
Symbol
One or more IFIS symbols, e.g. [[Image:IFIS_Sinister.png]].
Proportion
width:length, e.g. 2:3
Adoption
Date on which the flag was adopted.
Design
Concise description of the design.
Designer
Name of person(s) who designed the flag.
