Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]
  1. REDIRECT Template:Never substitute

{{{1}}} is the name of the country. {{{2}}} is the classification; if it is "authoritarian regime", the "a" before it changes to an "an". {{{3}}} is the year being rated—should be 2019, currently. If {{{4}}} is set to "true", there's a comma instead of a period.

E.g. {{Democracy Index rating|Alethkar|authoritarian regime|2019}} displays as:

The Economist Intelligence Unit rated Alethkar an "authoritarian regime" in 2019.[1]Template:Update after

{{Democracy Index rating|Azir|hybrid regime|2019|1}} making it better than Alethkar. displays as:

The Economist Intelligence Unit rated Azir a "hybrid regime" in 2019,[1]Template:Update after making it better than Alethkar.

The reference made by this may be re-used with the syntax <ref name ="democracy-index" />
