James Ashworth
- ... that James Ashworth is the second British soldier to be awarded a posthumous Victoria Cross for bravery during the Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan?

Whoah, hold on. He hasn't been awarded the medal yet, and there hasn't even been an official confirmation. Chamal T•C 16:19, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

- I'm going to ask that this one be placed on hold as I'm going to try an ITN nomination which could invalidate this one. Miyagawa (talk) 19:56, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
(Temporarily on hold per request) OK, but it's unlikely ITN will consider this significant enough. For example, Clinton Romesha's Medal of Honor a few weeks back was featured on DYK and not ITN. I suggest doing the same for this; if the award date is known, we could hold it until that day. Chamal T•C 00:42, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Date, length and hook all OK. Might be an idea to have a pic. Good to go. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 21:10, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
