- ... that the large crowds basketball player Rotnei Clarke (pictured) attracted during high school led to officials adding Verdigris, Oklahoma to a highway exit sign?

I am working on acquiring a better picturedone; My plan is to submit the article to WP:GA eventually, so any comments towards improvement are welcome.

Article length, date fine and hook fact verified. No copyvio issues I can see, article is very well-written and the hook length is ok too. However, there is a slight problem. A picture featured on DYK has to be present in the article itself and the image given here is technically a largely cropped version of an image in the article. Would you like to propose one of the other images in the article? Chamal T•C 06:36, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
- I would think a cropped version of a used pic would be fine, however File:Rotnei Focused on a Foul Shout 11-25-09.jpg is of equal quality (but will display smaller) so I'm fine with either. --ThaddeusB (talk) 17:59, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
- Cropped versions of pictures in the article are fine, and are frequently used for DYK. I think the original one is better than the second one in terms of visibility at 100x100px. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:11, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
