Additions and removals
- Additions must:
- Have an article that shows notability; if the name shows as a redlink, then the entry will be removed; it is appropriate to create an article on a notable person
- Include reliable references that show notability; even though the separate article shows notability, stand-alone lists must also include the references
- Include reliable references that show that they are an Eagle Scout
- Entries that do not meet the above requirements may be tagged and are subject to removal in a short time; it is up to the editors who add entries to ensure that they meet the requirements
- This list includes infamous people who are verified Eagle Scouts— removal of these entries will be reverted unless there is prior discussion to refute their status as an Eagle Scout; see WP:NOTCENSORED
- Editors who desire to identify themselves as an Eagle Scout may do so with a Scouting userbox on their user page.
