This template creates an iconbox for articles and lists related to the United States of America.

Use

The full syntax of this template is:

{{Ibox-US|foot|float}}

Parameters

  • foot is an optional iconbox footer parameter:
    • If foot is empty, the iconbox will have no footer.
    • If foot is all, the internal footer link will be [[Political divisions of the United States|The political divisions of the<br/>United States]]
    • If foot is DC, the internal footer link will be [[Washington, D.C.|The District of Columbia]].
    • If foot is federal, the internal footer link will be [[Federal government of the United States|The federal government<br/>of the United States]].
    • If foot is in, the internal footer link will be [[Political divisions of the United States|The 50 states and the federal<br/>district of the United States]].
    • If foot is insular, the internal footer link will be [[Insular area|An insular area of the<br/>United States]].
    • If foot is insulars, the internal footer link will be [[Insular area|The insular areas of the<br/>United States]].
    • If foot is state, the internal footer link will be [[U.S. state|A state of the United States]].
    • If foot is states, the internal footer link will be [[U.S. state|The 50 United States]].
    • If foot is territories, the internal footer link will be [[Insular area|The territories of the<br/>United States]].
    • If foot is territory, the internal footer link will be [[Insular area|A territory of the<br/>United States]].
    • If foot is anything else, the iconbox footer will be foot.
  • float is an optional iconbox float parameter:
    • If float is left, the iconbox will float left.
    • If float is anything else, the iconbox will float right.
