Parameters
All fields are optional.
- committee
- Name of campaign's authorized committee, as listed with the FEC. Drop candidate's first name, "2008", or "Inc."), if preferred.
- logo
- Campaign logo

- General election campaign article (abbreviate "United States" as "U.S.")
Example: U.S. presidential election, 2008 - candidate
- Candidate's first and last names
- cand_id
- FEC candidate identification number. To locate, open [1] at FEC, search for the candidate name, then click on the candidate name. The cand_ID number will be below the name in the header and in the url.
Example: P80003411 - fec_date
- Date of most recent FEC quarterly statistics in [YYYY]-[MM]-[DD] format.
Example: 2007-09-30 - status
- Indicate if campaign is no longer active.
Example: Withdrawn - affiliation
- Political party affiliation
- headquarters
- Location of campaign headquarters
- key_people
- Individuals most closely associated with the campaign. Limit to at most two or three people. To avoid red links, only link names with existing Wikipedia articles.
- formed
- When the candidate's exploratory committee was formed, if at all
- announced
- When the candidate formally announced their campaign
- launched
- When the candidate formally launched their campaign, if different from announcement
- suspended
- When the campaign was suspended, if at all
- receipts
- Total campaign contributions as indicated by the most recent statistics from the FEC[2] in millions of US$ (do not add dollar sign).
