Parameters
All parameters are optional.

Insert the full spelling of the name (defaults to {{PAGENAME}} if empty).

|
Insert a relevant image for the name. |
image_size
|
The infobox automatically resizes images to a width of 200px. Use this parameter only if the image being used is smaller than 200px. |
caption
|
Insert image caption, which should describe the image used. |
pronunciation
|
Insert the pronunciation(s) of the name. Separate multiple entries with a line break (<br />).
|
meaning
|
Insert the meaning(s) of the name. Separate multiple entries with a line break (<br />).
|
motto
|
The motto of the family |
region
|
Insert the region(s) of origin of the name. Separate multiple entries with a line break (<br />). In addition, link each region to its appropriate article if possible.

language
|
Insert the language of the name. Any value entered here will be converted into a Wikilink, however, this mechanism can be suppressed by including the nolinklanguage parameter (see below).

related names
|
Insert name(s) that are related to the name in question. Separate multiple entries with a comma or a line break (<br />). In addition, link each name to its appropriate article if possible.

|
Insert clan names that the surname has been affiliated with. Separate multiple entries with a line break (<br />). In addition, link each name to its appropriate article if possible.

Insert footnotes or references regarding the information given within this infobox. Separate multiple entries with a line break (<br />).

nolinklanguage
|
Including this parameter prevents values entered in the language parameter, above, from being automatically converted into a Wikilink. This parameter also suppresses invalid linking of multiple language entries of this sort: English, German.
