Description
English: Three European scientists have been named as payload specialists for the Spacelab D-1 (STS 61A) mission. They are (l.-r.) Wubbo Ockels of Holland and the European Space Agency (ESA); Ernst Messerschmid and Reinhold Furrer, both of West Germany and the DFVLR. They are pictured in the crew compartment trainer (CCT) at JSC.
