  • Comment: OwenBlacker, Tarselli hasn't edited Wikipedia since December 17. However, Mary Mark Ockerbloom made some edits to Darlene Lim over the weekend; I don't know whether these might have addressed the issues you raised, or if Mary Mark Ockerbloom might be willing to address them if you'd rather finish the review, which making the "little things" edits might preclude you from doing. In any event, I think this needs to proceed on the assumption that Tarselli may not be returning in a timely fashion. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:50, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
    • Comment: Thank you, BlueMoonset - I never got back to these edits, as I've recently started a new job and this is our busy season 'til March. My apologies, but thanks to OwenBlacker and Mary Mark for their feedback and contributions. Tarselli (talk) 19:57, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg Template:Ping since you pinged me, I've done a complete re-read on the page, addressing various issues. I'm delighted to see a page about her! Tarselli, there are a couple of outstanding concerns that you could help with. 1) The facts for the proposed hooks are not clearly stated and cited in the article. One way to address this would be that you could add a couple of sentences to the lead and add citations to them. 2) if you can cite a source for her birth date, please do, and then we can restore that information. 3) Can you cite a source for "she has published fifty-nine scientific articles"? • Comment: Hello, Template:Ping and thanks for all your feedback to improve Darlene's page and get it posted to DYK! I have made the following edits, following suggestions above: cleaned up lede and oriented it to hook 1, added Okina to all Hawaiʻian references, added 3 new references from 2019, and deleted non-verifiable information for birth date and publications. Please have one more quick look, and consider moving to press. Tarselli (talk) 16:52, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
Symbol redirect vote 4.svg Template:Ping IIt looks like Tarselli has addressed the outstanding concerns, so someone should be able to review this now. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 17:58, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg Template:Reply to Thanks for the ping. Everything looks good with 1 single exception: The reference to Lim's nationalities does not mention her nationality. If you remove the statement, then I'm happy to approve. — OwenBlacker (talk; please {{ping}} me in replies) 17:41, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Hi again, OwenBlacker, I fixed the misleading references. In Ref 1, her U.S. citizenship is confirmed in HuffPo interview, along with her parents emigrating from Singapore. In (new) Reference 7 - Science 2017 - she is referred to as a Canadian citizen. So, she either has dual citizenship - US and Canada - or just U.S. now, but at least the references are more clear. Sufficient, or did you have other concerns? Tarselli (talk) 01:09, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
Symbol confirmed.svg Template:Reply to You're right; somehow I completely overlooked "newly minted US citizen". Looks good to me; I'm happy to approve. Great work! — OwenBlacker (talk; please {{ping}} me in replies) 09:23, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
