Thanks! Experience strongly suggests that "significance of the pottery" hooks are not found very interesting by DYK. Quentin Bell had an exhibition in 1987 of pottery fired at the FP (in the link above, though that doesn't seem to take you to the page), presumably pretty recently, but the later history falls into the Internet Dark Age. I think there was a shop etc & my hook was meant to refer to pottery production, so the final company wind-up may not mean much. They may have hung around selling the site etc etc, as often happens. I'll add the wind-up to a note though, so thanks.
  • ALT1 ... that the Fulham Pottery in London (remains pictured) operated from c. 1672 for over 300 years?

  • Thanks, that's great. Happy with ALT1. Just needs a QPQ and it'll be GTG. Bermicourt (talk) 08:58, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Ok, thanks, QPQ done. Johnbod (talk) 14:55, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Symbol confirmed.svg Good to go. Bermicourt (talk) 09:31, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
  • Template:Ping Just a small comment – how about changing "c. 1672" in the hook to "around 1672"? I personally prefer the latter since I see it as easier to read (on Wikipedia I try to use "c." only in infoboxes). What do you think? Xwejnusgozo (talk) 15:36, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
I don't have a problem with that. Bermicourt (talk) 16:34, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
Nor me - it's "circa" I can't stand. The hook is short. Done. Johnbod (talk) 16:39, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
