  • ... that Roberts Landing, California (pictured, with restored marsh in foreground) was heavily polluted by an explosives company, and then cleaned up to create a housing development and a marsh? Source: [1], [2]

5x expanded by Uncle G (talk) and Aymatth2 (talk). Nominated by Drmies (talk) at 15:49, 3 August 2019 (UTC).

  • You could probably get the Trojan Powder Company into that. Uncle G (talk) 00:26, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
    • I would leave Trojan Powder out of it. That article is just a collection of sometimes contradictory clippings arranged chronologically. There is no source that gives an overview. Probably the corporate records got lost in one of the explosions. Aymatth2 (talk) 13:49, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
      • Not even as "an explosives company"? Uncle G (talk) 08:49, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
        • Maybe I am being too picky, but I would prefer an article that had some numbers on production volumes, income and employees. I suppose it is an o.k. start though and meets DYK criteria. Aymatth2 (talk) 16:20, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
Willing to review, but need sleep first. We don't need the complicated caption twice. Please find a way that doesn't pretend to picture California ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:37, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

Lua error: expandTemplate: template "y" does not exist. Symbol confirmed.svg OK, the minor points I raised have been addressed, and I think the ALT hooks now do draw readers' interest, that somewhere heavily polluted is now home to endangered species. I have struck ALT0. I prefer ALT2, but will leave ALT1 for promoters' consideration. The pic may not be of that same marsh, but the hook isn't saying so, and that's definitely the San Francisco Bay salt marsh harvest mouse, so I have added (pictured) back into the hook. The photo may or may not get used anyway. RebeccaGreen (talk) 20:33, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
