Usage

This is intended as a templated Did you know review. Parameters 1-8 and 11 use #if statements, so it really doesn't matter what you put in there; with parameters 9-10, putting 'n' in it brings up "not done" and "improperly licensed", putting 'u' in it brings up "unnecessary" and "nonexistent". Parameter 12 is a custom field in which further comment can be entered; if the nomination is good to go, parameter 12 enters text before "Good to go." and parameter 13 enters text after it. Parameter 14 gives an ALT number (ALT1, ALT2 etcetera), the parameter 15 gives further hook comments and parameter 16 gives further article comments.

The symbol usually automatically updates depending on what sort of issue is arising: Size and length are met with a big red Symbol delete vote.svg; Hook issues are met with a Symbol possible vote.svg; content, image and QPQ issues are met with a Symbol question.svg; the presence of any offline sources whatsoever get a Symbol voting keep.svg. Articles with no issues whatsoever get a Symbol confirmed.svg. However, it can be overwritten by entering the following into it:

  1. Symbol confirmed.svg
  2. Symbol voting keep.svg
  3. Symbol question.svg
  4. Symbol possible vote.svg
  5. Symbol delete vote.svg
  6. Symbol redirect vote 4.svg

...as does parameter 18, which is to be used when the issues raised have been addressed. Please note that although the icon can be still be adjusted, the review will make no mention of offline sources so it is better to have done so in the previous review.

  • {{subst:Did you know review|18=y|14=1}} produces Symbol confirmed.svg Good to go with ALT1.

Parameter 19 adds {{dykn|the nomination you have just reviewed}} to the end of the message after the signature, and is not meant to be saved. Template:Dykn is a shortform template for giving a wikilink to an article you've used this template to review, and if it is used as a QPQ, copy that into the "Reviewed" row of your nomination. Parameter 20 is for me, for when I lay down new documentation. Anything other than "t|=yes" will shut it off.
