Please make sure you are making your request in the right section and on the right page. Add your request at the bottom of the proper section. Do not add new requests at the bottom of the page; they won't be seen.
  • Please include a reason as to how the article where you want to include the link will benefit from the link being whitelisted. In particular, read Wikipedia:Reliable sources if you want to use your link as a reference, and Wikipedia:External links if you want to include your link in the external links section of an article.
  • Request must include the link(s) you wish to add and the article(s) to which you wish to add them. Leave out the http:// part, otherwise you will not be able to save this page.
  • Please read the list of commonly requested sites before placing your request.
    • If you have a source that you would like to add to the spam-whitelist, but you are uncertain that it meets Wikipedia's guideline on reliability, please ask for opinions on the Reliable sources noticeboard, to confirm that it does meet that guideline, before submitting your whitelisting request here. In your request, link to the confirming discussion on that noticeboard.
    • Likewise, if you have an external link that you are uncertain meets Wikipedia's guideline on external links, please get confirmation on the External links noticeboard before submitting your whitelisting request here.
Format of request:
Also note:
  • Broader requests (blanket whitelistings of complete domains, or large portions of website) will only be considered in limited cases.
  • Requests for a domain to be removed from the blacklist entirely go at MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist.
  • Requests from new and unregistered users are not likely to be considered.
