Template:efn Chinese name
Contents
Usage
This template may be put near the top of a biographical article, after the first bolded mention of the subject's name, to create a note to explain to readers unfamiliar with Chinese names when the family name is not the last name. If desired, the person's generation name can also be stated. This template is not for people with Chinese surnames that are already listed last e.g. Jeremy Lin.
If no parameters are filled, the first word of the page title will be taken as the family name.
This template can only be used on articles that include {{notelist}}
or, if |reftype=
is used, another footnote marker.
