Template documentation

This template is used by {{Euro convergence criteria}} (and associated historical templates) to display the convergence criteria reference values.

Usage

The template accepts two optional unnamed arguments and 11 named arguments:

  • 1=FULL - If the first argument is FULL, this tells the template that the full table is being displayed so the reference values are formatted accordingly. This is the default behaviour. Any other value for the first parameter results in the header being formatted for country specific tables.
  • 2=DATE - Here DATE is the date that the values in the table are valid for, which is printed in the header.
  • HICP - maximum Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices
  • DEF - maximum Government budget deficit to Gross domestic product
  • DEB - maximum debt-to-GDP ratio
  • ERM - minimum number of years as a member of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism II
  • EXCR - maximum exchange rate with the euro
  • INT - maximum long-term interest rate
  • NOTE - Adds a note after the country name (useful for things like {{kosovo-note}})
  • HICPN - Adds a note after the HICP
  • EDPN - Adds a note after the excessive deficit procedure
  • DEFN - Adds a note after the budget deficit to GDP
  • DEBN - Adds a note after the debt to GDP
  • ERMN - Adds a note after the number of years as a member of the ERM II
  • EXCRN - Adds a note after the exchange rate
  • INTN - Adds a note after the long-term interest rate
