Usage
Non-standard parameters:
noicon=1 — do not display an icon
no-prescript=1 — do not display an prescript (better to use {{cite IBD1915}}
)
inline=1 — alters the prescript from "This article"
to "One or more of the preceding sentences"
wstitle=article name — will automatically create a link to an IDB article on Wikisource
display=alternative text — if wstitle is set and display is set then
what is see is the display text
All the other parameters are standard and can be found in the documentation of {{cite encyclopedia}}
template.
This template fills out the following standard parameters:
editor-first = C. Hayavadana editor-last = Rao encyclopedia = The Indian Biographical Dictionary edition = 1st year = 1915 — can be overwritten location = Madras publisher = Pillar & Co.} ref = harv — can be overwritten
In addition the following standard parameters are available to be filled:
first first1 first2 first3
last last1 last2 last3
author author1 author2 author3 author-link author2-link author3-link
title — can be set as an alternative to wstitle if the article is not available on Wikisource url – ignored if wstitle is set otherwise can be set as the alternative website for the IBD article volume page pages mode
