Usage
This template expands a name to link to the appropriate MAX Light Rail station article, without displaying " station".
For example, {{maxs|Albina/Mississippi}} expands to [[Albina/Mississippi station|Albina/Mississippi]], and {{maxs|Gateway}} and {{maxs|ne99}} both expand to [[Gateway/Northeast 99th Avenue Transit Center|Gateway/NE 99th Ave TC]].
Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that Yamhill District serves the Yamhill District.
- Notes:
- This template is not case sensitive: i.e.
{{maxs|Airport}}produces the same result as{{maxs|airport}}. - All standard road abbreviations (Ave, Blvd, Rd and St) are recognized, as well as "TC" for "Transit Center".
- Compound station names (such as Clinton Street/Southeast 12th Avenue) can be shortened to any unique identifier: e.g. Clinton Street, Clinton St, Clinton, SE 12th Avenue, SE 12th Ave, SE 12th, SE12th or SE12.
